Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the #Merky FC team at adidas in crafting future marketing plans from insight from events held at #Merky FC HQ.
• Manage in-person and online enquiries for all events at #Merky FC HQ.
• Coordinate social and corporate events at #Merky FC HQ.
• Build and nurture relationships with adidas teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
• Contribute to planning and executing events, workshops, and initiatives in 2024/25.
• Support the logistics of the #Merky FC careers program, becoming an essential part of the team.
• Suggest improvements to activations based on community insights.
• Bring enthusiasm and knowledge of young London football communities to the role.
• Provide administrative support to the wider #Merky FC team.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude – we welcome questions and willingness to learn!
• Strong organisational skills – any experience with events and in managing projects welcomed.
• Self-motivated with a passion for football and community engagement.
• Advance time management skills with the ability to work on the go.

Department-Specific Duties:

• Organize upcoming #Merky FC events and activations.
• Arrange and attend internal and external meetings.
• Share creative ideas for events and activations.
• Handle event logistics including bookings, product orders, and invite/guestlist management.
• Collaborate with PR, Social, Comms, and Culture Marketing teams. A great chance to see different areas of marketing in action!
• Capture key notes and actions from meetings.
• Create engaging PowerPoint presentations to showcase ideas.
• Coordinate input from various teams into cohesive proposals.
