Hours: Part-time hours 9-12 Mon - Fri and every second weekend.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stud Administrator to join our team at The National Stud.
🟡 About The National Stud
The National Stud is based in the heart of Newmarket, nestled between the Rowley Mile and July Racecourses. Part of the Jockey Club Group we offer industry-leading stud services and boarding for mares, young stock, and spellers. Our stallions reside in the historic Duke of Roxburghe Stallion Unit, while over 100 thoroughbred foals are born each year in our Foaling Unit. The Education team run a full programme of courses ranging from entry level to management, with full and part-time options available for all. Public and private tours are available to book through our tourism partner Discover Newmarket.

🟢 The Stud Administrator will
Carry out reception duties including meeting and greeting clients and visitors, answering the phone, sorting mail and daily deliveries and setting up the boardroom for meetings.
Maintain efficient and accurate input of daily vet lists and updates to relevant owners.
Ensure daily veterinary results are fileed and uploaded to Equisoft.
Communicate with the stud operations and nominations teams to co-ordinate and facilitate the efficient and organised movement of horses.
Check in and out of passports for resident horses ensuring all vaccinations etc are endorsed by the relevant veterinary practice.
Complete general office administration.
🔵 About you
Knowledge of NSFA breeding regulations as well as equine breeding practices and procedures.
Understanding of the various European bloodstock sales that occur throughout the year, and the administration processes involved.
Experience in an equine based administrative role.
Working as part of a varied team managing multiple stakeholders.
Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
Approachable and capable with strong organisational, administration and planning skills
Able to work weekends during busy periods (breeding season and sales)
